Indigo Children

March 1st, 2010

I was always sceptical about the New Age concept of Indigo children until I saw this:

P.S. The fact that this promotes bottled water is unfortunate. Why doesn’t every community follow the lead of Bundanoon?

“As increasingly concern builds about the environmental impact of bottled water, the little Australian town of Bundanoon pulled all bottled water from its shelves Saturday and replaced it with refillable bottles in what is believed to be a world-first ban.”

  1. yes! I’ve added a PS to this post:

  2. This is the stuff of nightmares! Am I the only one that finds this really creepy?! Thumbs up to the people of Bundanoon!

I agree with you entirely, I’m not eleqount enough to say exactly what it is about this ad. that I dont like , but the use of babies (graphically enhanced or not} with teenage/adult manuisms is not nice, it is as you say creepy.

  3. Do you remember the book and film drama ‘The Midwich Cuckoos’ by John Wyndham – really spooky because it had ‘indigo children’ who used mind control. He wrote another one – The Day of the Triffids – about supernormal plants.
These babies, however, are just cute babies on roller skates aren’t they? 😉

  4. Is that the one with the strange and creepy looking children with blonde hair and weird eyes who are aliens in a little village? Or did I dream that? I loved The Day of the Triffids as a kid – if it came to it, I’d prefer death by killer plant than face a mob of roller skating psycho babies!

  5. Yes, the babies are cute, however when I saw this video on your blog a few days ago, I started thinking about what it was about bottled water that makes me uncomforable.

I remember the day that it was announced that there was no longer any clean water anywhere on the planet and how much it scared people here. And I also remember thinking that this was a good thing because it was starting to look like we as a people were going to finally get serious about taking care of our planet and clean up our waters… but bottled water appeared on the scene and people relaxed and put it out of their minds; problem solved. I was disappointed.

I still am disappointed… but besides all of that, the babies are cute. Thank you for the video.
