Harmonious Wail & The Vegan Zombie’s Lament

One of the delights of working in the OBOD office is that we receive all sorts of Bardic wonders from around the world – books, CDs, poems, artwork. Sometimes it takes a while to get to them, but finally I’ve made my way into a stack of CDs sent to us by a band called Harmonious Wail. They play the kind of music I love – Gipsy swing, relaxing music that I think is called ‘café’ music – perfect for leaning back and enjoying the singing and the atmosphere around you – and then some great idiosyncratic stuff: listen to their great song ‘He’s Old, He’s Six’ on their album The Vegan Zombie’s Lament.
