Summer Solstice Sunrise in Portugal

Happy Solstice! The OBOD group in Portugal has announced a celebration in conjunction with Lisbon town council in a nature reserve in the city.
What a fantastic example of the way in which nature spirituality is now becoming accepted within mainstream culture.
The London Olympics is starting with a replica of the English countryside that includes Glastonbury Tor. Shouldn’t we offer to ascend the Tor robed (or skyclad!:) to greet the sun?

That would certainly make more people watch ; )
I think the Portuguese idea is fantastic. I hope they have a fantastic celebration.
